I like for her to be funny and easy-going and not someone who gets offended super easily. I also like it if she’s a contact kind of person; like if she touches your arm when she laughs.

238.If someone you had no interest in dating expressed interest in dating you, how would you feel? I’d feel bad about having to let them down. I’d also probably feel awkward around them, depending on what kind of person it was.

Things tend to work out better if you get to know them first.. if you’re not friends before you’re romantically involved it makes it feel rushed, I think. Like I just need SOMEBODY, not necessarily you. Or the other way around.

242.What's your opinion on sex without emotional commitment? I think it’s extremely rare, despite what people may say. And I don’t think there’s any way to know if it’s actually emotionless or not.

And I believe in the Biblical view of wherefore you go to which, not this goodguys go to heaven and badguys go to hell simplistic bullshit.
289.Do you think God has a gender? He’s a spirit, so I don’t think He really has a gender, but I think he has certain characteristics to His personality that are more in common with males than females.
290.Do you think science counteracts religion? Definitely not. Science leapt foreward upon the thinking of the Reformation. People started believing there was a reason for things rather than that maggots spontaneously generated at the presence of rotting meat. Now mostly “non-religious” and “realistic” “scientists” believe that things spontaneously appear out of nowhere.

She’s not absolutely horrible, but anybody’s kid sister probably sings better.. so it bothers me that this particular girl gets her song on the radio. Mediocrity should not be celebrated.

419.What was the saddest moment of your life? The saddest thing that comes to mind is when my grandma got really sick and depressed and kind of went crazy for several months. I thought she was going to die. She didn’t, but she does have cancer now. 419.What was the saddest moment of your life? The saddest thing that comes to mind is when my grandma got really sick and depressed and kind of went crazy for several months. I thought she was going to die. She didn’t, but she does have cancer now. Yeah, so new layout for the blog. I actually put some minimal amount of effort into it this time. I picked a theme and changed font and link colors and added a picture and everything! Quite the intellectual workout! I used to be good at html.. but I stopped using it. Now I am teh useless.
Anyway, I should probably apologize for the more-than-slight Firefly theme. I've been on a Firefly binge lately and I'm really excited about the Firefly movie, Serenity, scheduled to come out in September of this year. It seems I have a strong tendancy to absolutely LOVE obscure things that few people can share my joy in. I plan to convert some of you before all is said and done, though.
In any case, the idea that just being able to continue can be sufficient is something that appeals to me at the moment, so a firefly-esque theme it is. Maybe I'll put more effort into making it look more original later, but I figure that before I do that I might ought to post in it every here and there. Otherwise it'd be a bit like putting a hundred-dollar saddle on a ten-dollar horse.

Today, let's have a little topography lesson. Everyone is aware of what a plateau is, right? It's basically a big area of flatness.. as it pertains to me, it is the point at which I go nowhere no matter how hard I try, and if I try less hard I will begin to go down again. Which.. ya know.. isn't the direction I want to go. I'm talking about physical fitness, of course. Pain in my ass. One can get over such plateaus of course.. but it requires a lot of work and diligence.. and I don't want to invest work and diligence. I just got comfortable. All I do is follow a certain routine and not eat like a total pig and I'm good! I don't have to be one of those people who are always watching what they do and what they eat (which is a nice switch since I've always been one of those people in the past). But now, I have to give that up to make further improvement.
So if I could pause here for a moment and conduct a small aside.. I would turn to the camera and ignore everything going on around me, quite confident that it will all freeze until I'm finished saying what I want to say. And that is just this: All I'm really doing is bellyaching. I don't know why you're wasting electrons trying to process this nonsense with your brain. If I were you I'd turn my attention to something more worthy of your time.. like trying to figure out the question to the answer-to-the-universe, which as the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy states, is 42.
This brings me to my next point, kids. Don't do drugs. And don't stay up all night. I only do it because it's my job. I get a day off tomorrow to recover though. Hopefully that'll make it all worth this.
Aaaanyway. A short while ago some friends of mine opened a revival of an old website and forums I used to go to. Hyrule: The Land of Zelda (I put a link to it with the new format for this blog.) I know, kind of a ridiculous name.. and the site doesn't have that much content yet. But it's still cool to me, because the forums for the original htloz.com (it's now .net) were one of the first communities I really got involved with online. I still have a lot of friends from that place, even though that was like 5 or 6 years ago.
Cat started her regular school schedule again on Monday. This makes it even more difficult for me to get to talk to her, but whatcha gunna do? Play hooky, that's what. Duh. She only has two months or something of regular school left though, I think.
I'm currently keeping an eye on this rat that has been wandering in and out of our building all week. We even named him Stewart. He is a very fat rat. Too sneaky for me to kick a fatal blow to though.
